More and more students are choosing to study at colleges and universities in a foreign country. Do the benefits of studying abroad outweigh the drawbacks?

In recent years, education everyone is focused on education. A lot of students go abroad to improve their knowledge and would like to have a good jobs after coming back to their countries. Study in a foreign country has some pros as well as cons which this essay will discuss.

The main benefit of study abroad is acquiring good knowledge. Students usually choose the best universities in the developed countries to study so they have chances to approach the modern science and technology. Moreover, students can learn and understand about customs, cultures and traditions of countries where they stay to study. The differences of culture help them to have more knowledge and broaden their horizons. In addition, people study in foreign countries who can have good friends are willing to help students improve their language skills and advise when they have troubles in their life.

On the other hand, there are also some drawbacks of studying abroad. It is easy for students who get the scholarships because they are not worried about tuition fees. If you do not have scholarship, you have to spend a lot of money for accommodation, travel, food and drink. Another disadvantage is the difference of language. For instance, students who attend the class cannot understand what lecturers say because they speak too fast. What is more, people who go abroad really miss their parents and their friends. They must do everything by themselves.

To sum up, the advantages of studying in a foreign country outweigh the disadvantages. It helps students a lot with knowledge and their careers in the future. Therefore, if you have a good financial condition, you should go abroad to study and broaden your vision and improve your knowledge.
